About Sahib Foundation

Sahib Foundation is an Indian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered under Society Act that has been carrying forward its mission from 2014, based in Nurpur Kangra Himachal Pradesh.With the prime objective of development and empowerment of the people in different spectrum such as education, health, agriculture, environment, social justice. We are here for  the socio economic empowerment, and taken initiatives to spreading social awareness, and we are working for the upliftment of the society, in particular the disadvantaged and exploited sections.

India a growing nation, an independent country from 66 years, biggest Democracy  in the world.  poverty, corruption, illiteracy and unemployment still are a big part of this country. Instead of our rapid economic growth all these evils making our country weaker rather than other nation. There are still widespread disparities in economic and social life of masses and a large section of society is still uneducated, unaware, and underprivileged, steeped in the poverty, disease and misery. Sahib Foundation is an Indian Non-Governmental Organization has taken a small step in this direction in 2014. The main aim of Sahib Foundation is work for social welfare, development and empowerment of people. For this Sahib foundation comes with various social welfare programs and charitable programs that include social justice, child, girl’s child and adult education, women empowerment, culture development, Health, agriculture, environment  and drug de –addiction. To further its vision, Sahib Foundation organizes various awareness programs for women and children that include training for their healthy life, rights and growth. At present various programs are under execution that include social justice, human rights, women rights, child rights, rehabilitation, protection and proper utilization of natural resources ,health awareness programs ,gender awareness programs, adult education, sanitation, safe water, organic  farming awareness programs for farmers, awareness program about clean India mission ,and awareness programs related to HIV/AIDS and Leprosy…………………we are running awareness programs for women to motivate them to self help groups to start work, their own work at home such as different types of hand –crafting, preparation of pickle at home, packing of different kind of materials etc.
